At the age of 18, I ventured off to university to pursue a career in nursing. Over time, I climbed the ranks within the nursing profession, recognizing that my greatest strength lay in my ability to connect with people. One day, while awaiting a dental appointment, my apprehension stemming from a lifelong dental anxiety was met with a pleasant surprise: a new dentist who exuded enthusiasm, knowledge, and genuine care for both me and my dental health.
This encounter sparked a significant decision in my life. Packing my bags, I embarked on a new journey, transitioning into the field of dentistry. Despite the challenges of balancing four rigorous years of university alongside the responsibilities of parenthood, I embraced this new path wholeheartedly.
Dentistry has offered me a plethora of opportunities, allowing me to traverse the country and accumulate invaluable professional and personal experiences. Along the way, I've discovered a passion for working with anxious patients, children, and orthodontics, further enriching my career and personal fulfillment.
